I got this neat little grill light for my husband, who sterotypically, does all the grilling at our house.We grill year round and it is often dark when he is trudging outside with a plate full of lamb chops. He has either used the light spilling out from the kitchen or used a head lamp in the past.This grill light has a pretty strong magnet on it and can just attach to the grill or onto the spatula or whatever your using to flip. He loves it and often just holds onto it rather than attaching it to anything when checking the meat.I like it, because it is easy to grab from the grill drawer to use to light the path when I am taking the recycling out.

Smokenator 2600 & Hovergrill Kit Review

I orded the smokenator and was very excited about all the great reviews. The smokenator says that it can be used for 6 hours without adding more charcoal. It lasted about 2 hours at best. I tried to use it for doing ribs and had to switch over to my gas grill after 2 hours and finish cooking them on the gas grill. I would not recommend anybody spend their money on this item.

Rome's #64 9 Inch x 13 Inch Basket Hamburger Grill Basket, Chrome Plated Steel Review

We had used one of these grill baskets for about 25 years and finally decided to get a new one.We couldn't find one in the local stores and were very happy to find it on Amazon.In fact, we bought two because we didn't want to be without one.Although, if it lasts 25 years, we may not get around to using the second one.:-)

It is simply great for grilling burgers.You don't end up with the burger falling apart and onto the fire.Easy to cook and flip up to 6 at one time.And foods don't usually stick to the chrome finish.Easy to clean.

My only complaint is with Amazon's packaging.They put it in a ridiculously large cardboard box - very wasteful.

Weber 2290 22-1/2-Inch Charcoal Kettle Rotisserie Review

We have owned Weber barbques for years and the rotisserie is an important accessory if you are doing chickens and turkeys. They are so much more juicy with the rotisserie than just sitting in the rack. Two chickens at a time (actually you can to three) should be about the same size for cooking time. Bigger are better, at least 4 lbs each. They will take about an hour and 20 minutes. Turkeys can be up to about 12 lbs. A pop-out timer is recommended, you can buy them separately if the turkey doesn't come with one. Hickory chips for smoke are good. Use lots of salt on the skin so the smoke will flavor the meat (and don't eat the skin:-) Be sure to catch the drippings in a Weber pan for the gravey.

I received this for Father's Day last year.I was skeptical - but it actually works.I can put some tri-tip in the smoker and hang in the pool or chat with guests while keeping an eye on the large LCD display. The range is very good, I can sit in the pool with the display next to me on the deck (at least 20-30 feet away) or go back inside the house. It beeps and talks to you a few minutes before your food is at the desired temperature.I use it primarily for beef, and the settings (rare, medium, etc.) are pretty accurate. This is especially good for large cuts of beef since it is often difficult to gauge whether the meat is pink inside or not.I would highly recommend this.Easy to set-up, then all you do is select the type of meat and the desired cooking level.Pork and seafood default to only one setting choice (well-done) but you can just use the temperature readout to cook to the desired temp.

Charcoal Companion Non-Stick Rectangle Grilling Basket with Rosewood Handle Review

I used to cut up pounds of veggies, and spend countless hours marinating them and placing them piece by piece onto skewers.The outcome was tasty but the amount of items you'd lose during grilling was kind of disappointing.

I ordered this grill basket from Amazon, and its great!I had a few 1 gallon bags full to the top from Fathers Day; chunks of red onion, white onion, whole white mushrooms, zucchini, red peppers, orange peppers, corn on the cob, and of course a few cloves of fresh garlic...all marinating in some olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, and paprika.

Instead of skewering each piece I simply dumped the bag into the basket, latched it shut, and tossed it on a hot grill!The outcome is fantastic!

Clean up is a little challenging just because of the size and wire mesh you gotta wipe down, for the most part a quick rinse under water and a sponge between the grids was more than enough. (A garden hose and sprayer would be perfect)

One quick tip I found is really "compress" your veggies into the basket, squeeze the top cover down tight and latch it shut...it'll save those little chunks from falling out!

This is really a great item for anybody who enjoys grilling, from fish to veggies, you'll be more than happy!

Brinkmann - 812-2100-0 - Smoke N Pit BBQ Grill Cover - Black - Standard Cover Review

Not the greatest looking cover...I would have preferred something that better conforms to the contours of the smoker.Unlike others I looked at, this one has accomodations for the smoke stack and the firebox, but it doesn't have a "fitted" look.It's also made of a thinner vinyl than other grill covers I've owned.There are velcro straps on each end of the cover to hold it on, but the ones on the right side are impossible to attach without getting down on the ground.Despite these shortcomings, it serves its purpose.It's nothing more than a cover and it ought to provide some protection for the smoker.

Weber 41429 Rolling Cart for Weber Q and Baby Q Grills Review

I got this stand today for my Weber Q 200.
It's not the stoutest thing you could imagine but it is most sufficient for the job required. Anything more would just get heavier.
Also, the engineering design itself is really quite convenient once you study how to best use it. While it came completely assembled it does have a learning curve.
I spent about thirty minutes trying different approaches to raising and lowering the setup until finally it became a very simple task. Those complaining about not being able to raise the stand w/o taking the grill off are wrong and need to practice a bit more until they discover the trick to it. I can set this up or break it down in about 30 seconds.
I did chose to make one change however. I think someone else mentioned doing the same.
It has a long velcro strap for holding the cart in it's folded position. I instead use the strap to tie down the grill lid to the front of the cart. This makes it one integral unit so that I can raise or lower the whole grill without it becoming detached from the cart.
When upright, make certain to "completely" lock in the wire support to the wheel axle. It not only snaps "over" the axle but also snaps on the "underside" as well.

Steps to how I raise and lower the grill while on the cart.

1. Strap the grill handle to the front of the cart with the velcro strap. IMPORTANT!
2. Release the wire shelf at the bottom from the wheel axle.
3. Lift the wire shelf with your right hand while holding the left side of the grill with your left hand.
4. Pick up on the left side of the grill to take the weight off the leftside legs and at the same time pull up on the wire shelf in your right hand. (This folds the left side legs under the grill.)
5. Put your right foot in front of one of the wheels to keep them from rolling and lean the whole setup over the right side legs while at the same time lowering the unit to the ground and off you go!
VERY SIMPLE TO DO! This is all done in one flowing motion actually and it takes about 15 seconds. But DO NOT forget step one, attaching the grill to the cart with the velcro strap.

To raise simply do the reverse. Start by leaning the grill on its left side and pulling out the wire grill (if you tucked it under). Pull the wheels out to the right. Hold the wire grill in your right hand and pick the grills left side up with your left hand. Push the wire down and the left legs over and snap the wire in the axle. EASY!
It works great like this and I am VERY glad I purchased the cart. I can't imagine being without it!
OH! And does this grill ever do a fine job cooking! It is terrific!
I am very pleased with my setup and have no doubt it will be well worth the investment. I'm sure you will be as well.

We purchased this Road Trip after having a horrible experience with a grill from Cabelas.That grill had the lava rocks that moved every time you moved the grill and besides that the legs fell off.We were looking for something that would have fold under legs and no rocks.The Road Trip saved our camping days.We purchased a bag for it, keep it stored in the belly of the camper and with putting water in the tray below the burners, it is very very easy to clean up.You can place this on the picnic table to cook on or use the fold down legs.We have also discovered that this is the best way to cook grilled onions and potatoes or pork chops or chicken, etc on the griddle. Old Smokey Charcoal Grill #14 (Small) Review

I do have to say I love this little grill! It is really "cute".

Now, I am not the sort that says, or uses the word "cute". The Old Smokey Charcoal Grill #14 is cute, though.

This grill is made to the same great standards as the bigger #18 and also, the solid Old Smokey Electric Smoker. Also, the results are just as consistent with the #14 as the firmly built and sound designed #18.

I have to confess; I already own an Old Smokey #18 and an Old Smokey Electric Smoker. And I am sold on these products. They really work, they look great and they are extremely well constructed. The manufacture does not skimp by using cheap materials. The materials used in these products are heavy duty and will last! Also, these products are made in the U.S.A. (Houston, Texas, no less).

The Smoker is manly with its rugged construction, straigth lines and no non- sense approach to getting the job done. The Old Smokey Electric Smoker is the best I have ever used with consistent and great results.

The #18 charcoal grill has shape, real appeal and sizzle but still a strong, sturdy product while providing great results everytime.

Now comes the #14. I thought this grill would be perfect for taking on camping trips (even long ones), going to the beach, park or tailgating. This grill gets hot fast and cooks evenly in a short amount of time, or slower, depending on what you want. There are dampers on the top and bottom that are very practical and easy to operate and will control the heat while preventing any flair ups.

Also, to make this grill even more compact and portable, I used wing nuts to attach the legs. Now, if needed I can tear everything down quickly and store the whole unit in a very compact package size.

Believe me, though, this grill delivers BIG flavor! It comfortably cooks four to five burgers at a time, or plenty of chicken for our family of five and is great for lots of siskabobs, or a rack of barbecued ribs. Also, it has so much more appeal than the run-of-the-mill kettle cooker!

My co- worker has a Weber and doesn't use it much. I told him, "Joe, you just haven't found the right grill yet. You need a grill you can actually have a relationship with. Something original. Something different. Something that is fun and will make you happy"!

Life can get monotonous, everyday the same, everything the same, so I say, "why have a boring grill"?! Face it, alot of times it will be just you and your grill. Get an Old Smokey and you will have a grill you can have some fun with!

Cuisinart Simply Grilling Nonstick Grilling Basket Review

I bought this product primarily to cook fish on the grill.There were two problems with this basket that led me to send it back without ever using it.First, the tines that make up the basket are spaced too far apart - so less dense fish (think talapia) would easily fall through - as would smaller pieces of vegetables. The 2nd problem was the way the basket closed - which made it very likely for the user to get fingers smashed during closure.I have a cast iron basket with much smaller holes that just sits on top of the grill - and I will just continue to use that for fish and vegetables unless I find a better quality version of this type of basket. Great idea - but poor design.

Charcoal Companion Non-Stick 12-inch Square Grilling Wok Review

This grill basket worked great for a couple months with heavy use. The price is good and it had a very large grilling area. It's perfect for grilling vegetables. I suppose I was a bit rough on it because the coating started flaking off over time (not sure if it was from utensil scratches or from scrubbing it clean). With all the concern about cookware chemicals getting into food, I threw it away. I have a feeling most grill baskets probably just need to be replaced every so often...

Replacement Probe for Grill Alert Review

Before giving up on your wireless thermometer, try replacing the probe!I'm on my third probe now, which is frustrating, but these things are only $15 bucks.A new 'Grill Alert' is $70!Each probe that I've had seems to last a few years before I start getting screwy readings.When I replace the probe, the unit works fine again.I think the probes are only rated to 400 degrees, so that's definitely the weak link in this otherwise excellent system.Now I'm ordering two probes, just so that I can have a spare ready to go.

I've never met a Weber grill owner who didn't remain completely loyal to the brand.Weber customers will never buy anything else.I can't speak to their less expensive lines (some are made in China), but the premium lines are first rate made in the US of A and the EP-310 is a great example.This is a grill which I own and it will last for many, many years.This unit is made of 302 stainless steel, the GOOD kind, not the inferior 420 stuff most of the grills at Lowes are made with.Some parts are cast alumnium and a few cabinet parts are painted metal but nothing that will rust.Without going on feature by feature, this grill was designed to cook well and very efficiently and last a long time to boot.The thick stainless steel cooking grates are key.Anything else (cast iron, porcelinized iron etc) will rust away too soon and they are not cheap to replace.These will last virtually a lifetime.Many cool looking grills you see are affordable because they chince on the grates.You get a grill for $200 and a year later you are buying grates for $100.Take my word for it...buy a Weber grill.This model is a top shelf choice.The Genesis S-310 is the same but the cover is stainless and it costs $100 more.I find stainless too hard to keep nice looking.The black porcelin cover is easy to keep clean.Oh, and there is a sister model to the EP-310...the EP320.It is the same but has a side burnr.Happy grilling!

You will never regret you spent money on this one! It will serve you for ever and take any abuse from flame cooking you can think of. I had a bad experience with BBQ utensils made with plastic and wood handles: they crack, melt, break off. I switched to utensils made entirely of metal: my boys are very tough on utensils when cooking in the backyard. The size of this spatula is huge, you will use it to flip fish, large stakes or even 2 burgers at a time, the handle is also long enough to keep your hands away from the mess and fire.

Weber 7404 Cast Iron Griddle Review

After much confusion over which griddle would work with my new Summit 670 LP Grill I finally contacted Weber directly who told me that the 7404 was the correct product.Weber offered to sell it to me but as I'm an Amazon Prime member I could not pass up the "free" 2nd day shipping I could get direct from Amazon on this product.

This is a very heavy porcelain enameled griddle that is reversible (you can see both sides of it in the product photo).I gave it a very light and fast wash with some dish soap and warm water and then dried it thoroughly.

The first time I used the griddle I gave it a heavy spray of olive oil and let the grill get up to about 400 degrees.I have observed you will get very fast and thorough heat by applying direct burner heat under the griddle as well as turning on a different burner to medium temperature for ambient heat.

Made some fish on this and it came out wonderfully (I used the textured side for the fish and there was no fall apart of the fish as is typical when being cooked directly on the stainless grates on the grill itself).I really look forward to using the smooth side of this for making breakfast items, fajitas and other things that will cook great on the grill.

Clean up is a bit of a headache as you must take the heavy griddle off of the grill, bring it into your kitchen and clean it up.Arguably if the griddle is well seasoned you can just give it a quick wipe down with a cloth.

So why only 4 stars?Well, the griddle fits the grill so tightly that you actually can't put it at either end of the grill, due to the bolts on the back of the grill pushing the griddle forward just a bit so you can't close the lid of the grill.You need to scoot the griddle a couple of inches over to clear this bolt if you want to close the lid (which you probably do).

The other issue I have is that there is no good way to store this.It would have been nice to see something like a liner, etc, that could be used to encapsulate this so you could store it in the grill cart.If you just slide this in it will scratch up the finish on your grill, you don't want that!

All in all this is a reasonable value for money paid, it's a great addition to your Summit 600 series and makes even more flexible cooking on the grill possible.
