I grill almost everyday in summer and quite a bit even in the winter.So I tend to be a bit hard on my grills and I had never really spent much on my grills and I replace every 2-4 years.This time around though, I fell in love with some of the newer stainless steel grills out there and on some of them it appears that you get more than from Weber: more grilling space, or more BTUs, or just bigger.So I decided to go digging a bit.
I checked consumer reports and this Weber grill is rated the #1 grill out there for the following reasons:
a) very even heating
b) quick heating
c) very solid construction
d) low propensity for flareups
Consumer reports brought out some of the more glaring shortfalls to other grills that were not easily apparent then blinded by all that stainless steel at the local warehouse store.Armed with some consumer reports data I went back to the local stores that have these grills and I started to see what they were saying: plastic where Weber was aluminium, solid doors vs thin with empty backing, open cabinets where Weber has fully enclosed cabinet, cast steel casing where Weber's is Aluminium.Try as I might, I couldn't find the exact model I wanted so after much deliberation I bought the Webber Genesis S-310 from Amazon.I always order from Amazon but I was a bit hesitant to order due to a review of someone getting a dented grill.But since I really wanted the S-310 and I trust Amazon, I went ahead and ordered and everything arrived perfect (Thank you Amazon and Eagle - whoever you are).
The Bad:
1) It arrived in a box factory disassembled into a bunch of parts
The Good:
1) It was very well packaged in the box (additionally, most stainless parts had a plastic film to keep from scratching)
2) It shipped and arrived very quickly (within 3 days of ordering - standard shipping)
3) No dings or scratches on the grill or even on the box (Eagle did a great job on this one)
4) The fact that the grill was disassembled - which allowed me to get to know the grill as I assembled it and raelly appreciate the construction
5) Instructions were clear
6) I have to say that in putting this grill together took about one hour of work and it really had me appreciate the strength of Weber's construction on this product.Its frankly amazing how well constructed this grill is.
7) Construction of this grill is made of stainless steel and cast aluminium with plastic only in the wheels (which are very tough), hose, knobs and a couple of small fittings.
8) The undercarriage is enclosed on all four sides with gorgeous stainless doors which are thick and fully whose back is also stainless.
9)Many details were taken into account, there are adjustments so that the knobs are fully centered.
10) There's a chain to hold a lighting match and the lighting hole is neatly placed on the front right corner of the grill although the grill has electronic ignition.
11) The temperature guage was placed in the front center of the grill and is large and easy to see.
12) The knobs are located on top of the grill which is fantastic if you have small children.It makes it much harder for children to reach the knobs and turn them
13) It doesn't come with a tank (I have 3 so that wasn't a problem)
14) Comes with a drip pan
15) It doesn't have brickettes but comes with very highly angled triangular baffles to cover the burners...the angle of the baffles lessens the likelihood of flareups because grease falls down before it catches on fire
16) Very good warranty on all materials and workmanship
17) It has a tank measure so you know when you're low on propane
18) This grill gets hot.I turned it on high and turned around for a few minutes and it was up to 650 degrees and the flavorizer bars were glowing bright red hot....wow -- never had a grill do that before!
19) Very even heating. The burners run left to right on this grill vs front to back.Always in the past, I've had a problem with the back of my grill being hotter than the front.With this grill the heating is more even.There are pros and cons of left to right arrangement of burners vs front to back and probably beyond this review just be aware potential buyer --- left to right works very well for me and I find I can do indirect cooking nicely too.
Grilling with this product is fantastic.This is the best grill I have ever owned and I'm glad I own a Weber Genesis S-310.You might find cheaper grills or bigger grills for the same money or higher BTUs but overall, I think you'll be hard pressed to find a "better grill" out there.
I was apprehensive at ordering such a large product from Amazon but amazed at how fast I got it and the store perfect condition it arrived in.One very happy Weber Owner and Amazon shopper.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED I put this on my Char-Broil Silver Smoker. Easy to read even in the dark, color coded smoke/bbq/grill sections so if in doubt stay in the color for your application. I LOVE it it makes checking the temp easy and I am secure in the results I have received.
My aunt got these for my grillmaster boyfriend for his birthday, and he loves them.He got rid of his old tools and uses these almost exclusively.The flipper and tongs get a lot of use, but we don't do enough to need the fork yet.
Stable and safe, it holds the chicken proudly upright. That alone is a huge virtue. And, better yet, it actually produces a very excellent result for very little effort. It is easy to clean, too.
Sounds like a great idea but in action hardly worth the money paid. The battery compartment is hard to access and requires you to remove 2 tiny screws and insert 4 "C" batteries which weigh down the unit. The light is barely adequate for the task and the fan is a joke, it doesn't remove the smoke and at times actually blows it towards you. I felt like returning it after the first use but repacking it and going to UPS just wasn't worth the time and effort. Save your money and buy a light without the fan for a lot less.
I have used a lot of grill skewers and these are great because they are strong and the metal end works well for piercing tough meat and vegetables without being sharp enough to cause the occasional finger cut.However, the only caveat is that you must keep the handles away from the flame and sticking out of the grill by several inches (thereby making the meat closest to the handle usually undercooked).If you don't, the rubber melts (why is there rubber on something meant for the grill?) and the slider will be stuck in place.If this happens (it did with mine) it really doesn't decrease the utility of the item, but you can't use the slider portion anymore.I bought these and will buy again though.
This a good, sturdy set of tongs, good length and comfortable to hold.If I could change them, though, I would do something about the tips.In my opinion, they are bent inwards too much--you end picking things up w/ just the tips rather than the whole grabber, which can lead to torn meat.Weber should know better!Also, I think I prefer the sliding tong lock to this pull mechanism.Works fine now, but I worry that down the road it will get loose and start locking while I am using them; that would be very frustrating.But, so far so good.
I have used my new Reveo MariVac multiple times on pork roasts, London broil beef (grilled), and whole roast chicken. Recipes are provided for fish and vegetables as well, but I have not tried these yet. The MariVac is easy and fun to use. Just put up to four pounds of meat in the clear acrylic tumbler with your marinade of choice, let the MariVac evacuate the air inside the tumbler (takes 90 seconds), and have the MariVac tumble the food for up to 20 minutes. Roast food is extremely juicy after just 15-20 minutes of MariVac tumbling. Combining MariVac's system with a good meat thermometer will reliably produce a perfect roast. In addition to the obvious time savings over marinating overnight, the short time that the meat is in liquid in the MariVac system avoids the mushy texture and bland color that slowly-marinated foods sometimes develop. Basically, you get a whole lot of liquid inside your meat, real fast. Your meat can gain up to 20% in weight.
Really great cover with no Cons. It fits and look perfect and classy. I definitely reccomend it.

Like other reviewers have said, these are a high-quality, well designed, last a lifetime product.They are so nice I actually look forward to using them. They are worth every penny. I like to grill over a wood fire, and the Super Skewer has no peers. The twin, thin, SS tines are easy to load, won't split the veggies, and the food stays put when you flip them. The wood handles keeps the burn cream in the cabinet. They are nice and LONG to bridge a gas grill with the grates removed, or to hold wieners and marshmallows over a campfire.
My boyfriend does alot of grilling so this holder is a wolderful item. You can keep your grill lid opened at different hights when need.
This cover is a little short for my grill but i knew that when i bought it..For the price good luck beating it.The material is very thick and velcro straps work nice to keep a snug fit.When dogs tear up BBQ covers faster than i can order them a nice one at this price is a pocket book saver!
Great product! Solid, almost indestructible.Must have if you are cooking for a large group.Cuts cooking time in have, and allows you to cook a lot more recipes outdoors.
The small stainless box attached to the propane valve make it impossible to fully screw small propane bottles onto the valve.This means propane will leak slightly.Also, if you find a way to get the tank on, you will find the grill will not stay lit while the lid is closed.Obviously this is a huge issue.So the grill is going back.
The apron I received doesn't have buckle on the top "loop". It is not adjustable - one has to tie a knot there to shorten it. There is a pocket in the front. Other than that the item is of a high quality.
Tall enough sides to hold a enough vegetables or whatever I need for more than 2 people.Handle design is awesome.It comes off so I can close the lid of the grill over it & doesn't get overheated.

I use this unit a lot.It is bright, and never without power, hence the solar panel.I would recommend this unit to anyone with a grill.I always start grilling when it starts to get dark,wintertime, and always need a flashlight.Now I don't have that problem anymore.Not only that, but the color of the light give a better impression of when the meat is done.

The Camp Chef SPG-90B has been a perfect choice for a camp stove and the BBQ box makes a good combination on top of this 3-burner stove. It is much sturdier than it looks in photos. It sets up in 2 minutes, and really IS portable despite having 3 burners.We wanted to look at one in person, but couldn't find a retailer anywhere in the area so we took a chance on buying this on the internet. Delivery was FAST!However, the photo on the internet shows a rack underneath and the description clearly says that it comes with a rack underneath. FYI - It doesn't. You have to buy one separately and it's $20-$30 from other sources. We do not regret this purchase though.
At last a professional grill brush that does justice to the effort I put in to cooking on my bar-b-que and leaving the grill clean every time. A couple of wet stainless steel grill pads in the scrubber's mouth, a little back and forth action on the grill, I drop the pads into the dishwasher and I'm done. What I like with this product is that it cleans not just the top of the grill, but top and sides. No messing around with pads that have to be inserted into this or that holding device, no handling the greasy pads. No need for a separate wire brush. It's too easy. The spring grip is surprisingly strong and takes a little muscle but that shows the quality of the product. Having bought and tossed out so many other grill cleaning products, in my opinion this is a steal for $29.99. The best kind of smoker box is cast iron because it's really good at taking the heat, smoke, and dirt. This is a prime example. I wish it was deeper to fit more wood chips, but hey, it's alright with me.
This is a great set of tools for the price.I was worried about the gauge of steel and wood.You know i did not want the flimsy type tongs that bend when you pick up ribs...or worse the wood rot off after 2 uses.But these are very sturdy, and the wood is thick they should last a long time. There are grooves in the wood handles that give your fingers and thumb places to sit.They are ergonomically comfortable.i look forward to years of grilling with these
This is a nice gauge it was much larger then I expected. I can see it from across patio with a quick glance. The face is supposed to be glow in the dark, but that hasn't worked for me. Overall it was a nice addition to my Weber smoker that did not come with a thermometer at all. I would recommend using a uni-bit when drilling the hole to install it.
